Harvey F. Kaplan
Attorney Harvey F. Kaplan is Of Counsel to Kaplan, Strangis and Kaplan, P.A., which he joined in 1980. His work with the firm has been concentrated in the area of business transactions, including financial, mergers and acquisitions, real estate, and state and federal tax matters.
In his more than 50 years of legal practice, Mr. Kaplan has represented companies ranging from small, closely-held businesses to large corporations. He has taken pleasure in providing his clients with creative solutions to challenging business and legal problems in the fields of real estate, construction materials, venture capital, automotive, air transportation, and major league sports. Mr. Kaplan has enjoyed developing long-term working relationships with clients, getting to understand their industries and organizations, and giving them customized, quality legal advice. He also consults with attorneys in other practice areas whose clients’ matters involve issues of business law.
Mr. Kaplan has reduced the scope of his practice, but continues to provide support and guidance to the other attorneys in the firm.
