Attorney Andris A. Baltins has been a member of Kaplan, Strangis, and Kaplan, P.A. since 1979. He concentrates his practice in business law, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions.

In addition to being a highly-respected attorney, Mr. Baltins is an accomplished entrepreneur, businessman and author in his own right. He has owned and operated a number of successful businesses, including Litl Radio Enterprises (radio broadcasting in Great Falls, Montana), Mobius Press (specialty large format printing in Oakland, California) and Community Strategies (real estate development and operations in Red Wing, MN and Minneapolis, MN). He is the author of Love Letters: Reflections on Living with Loss, the winner of the Nautilus Award for “world changing” books.

Mr. Baltins has also served on the board of directors of numerous business organizations, including Polaris Industries, Inc. (NYSE: PII); Camping World Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CWH); Fairway Media Group, LLC; Adams Publishing Group, LLC; and Adams Outdoor Advertising, Inc. In addition, he has served as a director for private and nonprofit organizations, including the Yale University School of Music, and was founding chairman of the Jungle Theater in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Prior to entering private legal practice, Mr. Baltins taught law at the International Legal Center of the Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, Colombia.
